CHAPTER 19-26
a. If I were to organize the 100th Year Anniversary of Little Prince Publication, I would organize the following activities:
1.) Have a lecture about the little prince so that the people will know more a bout the little prince and how adults & children differ in thinking and understanding things.
2.) Create or draw own planets like the one we read in the book that the little prince went to.
3.) Let the ones who participated in the anniversary say the lesson they learned in The Little Prince.
b. The Little Prince talks like an adult. But still, there are some things he does not understand about adults. He loves asking a lot of questions. I would suggest this book to be read by both adults and children. If adults read this, they would know what the children think and feel about how they act, by this might change their attitudes. If children will read this book, they would enjoy because they can relate to the Little Prince. They can also learn lessons.
c. His life story about his childhood and adulthood could be related in his novel.
d. The little prince went back to his own planet. Even though it is difficult for him to go back, he still went because he has many things to take care of himself like his flower and volcanoes.
e. The pilot did not tell his companions about his true feelings because maybe they will not believe him and would just laugh at him. We could relate this to our life. Sometimes we do not tell our friends some things because we are afraid that we might get embarrassed or be laughed at.
f. 1. We only value things when it is already out of sight. We notice its significance and importance not by the physical appearance.
2. One should be very responsible to his doings.
3. Be careful of what you say because you might be misunderstood by what you have said or what you say.
4. One is beautiful because not because of its appearance outside but in the inside.
5. One could sometimes be proud of something that has great importance. You should be thankful of what you have rather than counting what you should have.
6. It is nice to look at something that is precious. Even though you do not see the certain thing, when you look at something related to it, you will be reminded of it.

CHAPTER 10-18
a. The king means he should only assign a duty to a person if the person he ordered could do the duty.
b. It is difficult to judge one’s self because we barely see or notice what we are doing or if we are right or wrong. People can judge us easier because they can see what we are doing or how we are acting.
c. Proud people think that they are always praised because they only care about compliments. They never hear or care about people insulting them. This is not a hearing problem. This talk is about being aware of what people think of us. This is about being aware of judgments.
d. Drinking doesn’t really make you forget something you don’t like. People who drink usually say this they think they forget things when they drink a lot. Well, actually it doesn’t help forgetting at all.
e. People want to be rich so that they will have more money. Sometimes, they don’t care of the things around them because all they can think about is money, money and only money.
f. If someone orders you, you should do it right away. There is nothing more to understand unless of course if you know it’s bad.
g. He understood him because the lamplighter is doing his job well even though it meant no rest for him. I agree with the little prince, the lamplighter is very industrious and he does his work well. He does not leave his work. He is sacrificing.
h. Most adults just command. They do not care about anything except for facts and information. The geographer commanded the little prince to explore about the earth right away without even thinking that the earth is too big for the little prince to explore.
i. The pilot described the earth as an extraordinary planet. Men occupy a very small space in the earth even though the earth is big. I agree with the pilot. The earth indeed is not an ordinary planet. Since most of the people are selfish, they don’t care if other men will have little place to stay.
j. For me, the snake is trying to make the little prince confused. He is always making riddles that the prince doesn’t understand well.
k. In Chapter 18, the flower stayed in the desert even though it does not have an account. The men, who were stronger than the flower, were nowhere to be found. This means that a person might look weak but inside they are very strong people and possesses something that one cannot see.

READ AND REFLECT: CHAPTERS 1-9
a. The pilot was very disappointed, so from there did not draw anymore. Adults should understand children. They should not discourage them. They should encourage them instead because children are easily discouraged. If children are discouraged, they might stop doing a certain thing that they like because some people criticize their work. They would choose another thing to do just to impress others even if they don’t like doing that thing. Adults should also know or understand children’s point of view.
b. By the criticism of the little prince. We all learn from our mistakes. No one learns how to get a thing right when they don’t even know if it’s right or wrong. We should also take the criticism of other people to know how to improve our work.
c. His dress was not formal. He dressed in Turkish costume, which made him seem silly to the grown-ups. Grown-ups really care about physical appearances of a person. If you do not dress formally, they might think that you are not serious and might not even understand you.
d. Adults describe a house beautiful when they find out the cost of a house. They don’t describe it in its appearance. Grown-ups don’t imagine as much as we children do. Mostly, they only care about serious things. Some even forget what’s it like to be a child again.
e. Baobabs are large trees. If you don’t solve a problem early, it will grow bigger until you can’t solve it anymore. You should solve problems while there is still time. We should do things as early as possible. We shouldn’t wait for next time before we do things.
f. He was shocked. The little prince did not understand why the pilot thinks that a certain thing is a matter of great consequence. He did not understand what is the big deal of being busy for a plane.
g. Sadness is hidden in the inside. It is mostly a secret. No one would know if a person is sad unless they show it. The land of tears is a secret place because nobody knows everything about it except for the person who owns it.
h. You should always be on the safe side in a good way. You should be cautious. In the book, it was known that one volcano is extinct. But according to the little prince, you would never whether it is really extinct. So, he still cleaned the extinct volcano. You will never know because maybe it will erupt anytime.
i. The flower that the little prince owns. It means that one must sacrifice in order to receive something good or to make someone so dear happy. You will never be a certain kind of thing when you don’t undergo in a certain part.
j. The flower coughed in order to escape from a question she cannot answer or a sentence she was not supposed to say. She made some alibis or excuses. Some people also do this to get away from something they don’t want to talk about. They do this so that the people will be concerned about them and forget whatever a person was saying or was about to say.
k. It was precious. He made sacrifices. In the book, the little prince was sad because he had to leave his flower alone on his planet. But before he went, he made sure that the flower is safe. He shielded his flower with glass so it will not be harmed. He even went back to his planet even though it meant leaving a friend, which was the pilot.
